Dear Parents / Guardians

I would like to extend a very warm welcome to our school's new website. It is still very much a work in progress, but as we develop the content over the coming weeks and months, I hope that you will find it a great source of information relating to everything that is happening at our school.

At St Brigid's, our aim is to provide the very best for every child within a caring environment where everyone is happy, safe and secure. With commitment and support from all our staff, every child is guided and encouraged to develop their full potential in all areas of learning. We recognise that everyone has an important part to play in children’s development and that all contributions, no matter how big or small, are valued. We therefore seek to work in close partnership with parents and other professionals at all times.

We are committed to providing a caring, supportive learning environment where every child is guided and encouraged to become an independent learner, fullfilling their potential in all areas of their learning.

Whilst we have high expectations of our children and place a strong emphasis on working to the best of our ability, we are also very mindful that school, particularly primary school, should be a place where children look forward to coming, day after day, to grow and develop with their circle of friends. This family orientated ethos  permeates everything we do here at Drumilly and is clearly visible in not only how the children support one another,  but in how they display such good manners to each other and to everyone who vistis the school.

We are dedicated to making the primary school days, of all our children, a positive and enriching experience.
